Cape Tribulation is located at the meeting place of two World Heritage Sites, The Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest this is the only place in the world where two world heritage sites meet together and it is something that you will never forget.Cape Tribulation Hotel
Cape Trib Beach House is a combination Guesthouse Hotel Hostel Resort. It is very hard to describe you have bungalows that have four hotel type rooms from deluxe to budget to cheap hotels with en suite air con hot water and a small refrigerator that are literally in the rainforest.
Hostel they also have rooms that are multi share hostel type the rooms have four beds and there are two to a building with a very nice common area in between. There is also a place for self cook with all the basic utensils you would need in a clean well lit area.

On site they have a very nice little restaurant that serves surprisingly good healthy food that is inexpensive filling and it tastes good. The restaurant also has crisps and fresh fruits. Surprising to find at the back of the restaurant area is several computers that worked quite well considering that you are literally in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest and just meters away from the Great Barrier Reef.
Cape Trib Resort Activities
There are many things to do from scuba diving to adventure tours. They also have several hikes one that I enjoyed the hell out of was going down the beach over lava rocks and then through the rainforest to a cool pool in a river that has crocodiles. They did say that you could hike to the grocery store which i did but i would suggest only doing this in the day time as the road is very dark and the walk is a long one.
