Bagan is the place famous for all of its pagodas with over 2000 of them located in its general area Bagan is situated between Yangon-Rangoon and Mandalay in central Myanmar. (Bruma) is as you probably know a dynamic country with the people and the government not necessarily on the same page this causes some interesting dynamics for travelers going there. They are moving the capitol as we speak from Yangon /Rangoon to up near Mandalay. You gotta do the dance when you say the name but hey clean friendly and reliable expect the usual YMCA decor with transportation to the airport available . The Y will let you store luggage which is a very nice benefit if you want to travel to the temples light. like most of the cheap hotels in Yangon (Rangoon) free breakfast is included into the guest room rates
